Love the demo from the very start, your art style and game flow are amazing, i think if you find a way to get the reddit or kongregate communities involved it would really boost getting it into steam, i would love even a console version of this, keep up the great work and dont give up!!
A downloadable game for Windows
Light Fairytale is a turn-based Japanese-style RPG set in a dying underground world ruled by a fierce empire. Inspired by classics such as Final Fantasy 7 and Breath of Fire 5.
Coming in Q4 2017 on Windows, Mac and Linux. In English and Japanese.
The game starts with the main character Haru dreaming of vast green plains and a clear blue sky. A scenery he is not supposed to have ever seen, as the world he lives in is deep underground.
After confronting with the soldiers who rule this dark society, he will embark on a great adventure discovering the mysteries of the world.
Teaming with many allies, including a mysterious, silver haired girl that is key to his quest.
The game features fast, turn-based battles that occur directly on the field.

Really fell in love with this. So sorry to see it didn't get funded. I hope you're still working on it and trying to find backers because I'd really like to see this become a full game. Lots of hard work put into it and it shows. Good luck! I added it to my list in the #4 spot (not really a ranking, just the order).
Big fan of the demo and the game so far! Did a playthrough of the demo for our channel!
Hi there! I really like your game, it looks like it will be hit when completed :) It reminded me of Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light due to the graphics and music style, it brought back a lot of nostaliga. If you don''t mind, i made a gameplay demo of it. Keep up the good work :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sd-1e4snilg
Thanks for the video! You should lower the quality to Medium, and also the relative resolution to 0.50x to have a better frame rate! (in the Setup submenu on the title screen).
